If all else fails, try emailing Magix at. The free version is adequate in most cases unless a ' forced' uninstall is needed. Revo Uninstall has a pro and freeware versions. I recommend using Revo's ' Advanced' scan mode. If you cannot reset SF, or it does not help, uninstall - reinstall again, but use a third-party uninstaller like ' Revo Uninstall' which can remove the left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the default uninstall leaves behind, causing issues to reoccur. but since SF will not launch: Hold down the ' Ctrl+Shift' keys, whilst launching Sound Forge which should open the reset tool. Try resetting Sound Forge and clearing the cache, which is usually executed with ' File> "Reset all preferences and clear cached data" menu.
